My Kiko order is here!!! I am so impressed with kiko & their great customer service!. My parcel came from Italy & was here within 3 days & I could also track my parcel right to my doorstep. My products were packed beautifully & each products packaging looks chic & cool. I couldn't wait to open them all!!!
As I've mentioned in my previous posts I am trying to switch to a more organic beauty regime, but I am yet to find a company , who produce organic makeup.. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know! But with my mascara & my chubby stick near an all time low . I decided to give kiko a whirl!
I ordered 3 items from Kiko
The first product I ordered was the scrub & peel face wipes. I too have been finding it difficult to find an organic facial wipe with an exfoliating / peeling element in them , & I really wanted to give these a go. The wipes are 2 sided . 1 side is covered in rough little beads for the exfoliating & the other side is smooth for the soothing element after the peel is complete.
The wipes are soaked in an alphahydroxy acid which speeds up cellular turnover & prevents signs of aging & also vitamin e lotion for the soothing effect.
These wipes are pretty amazing! The beads were actually quite rough on my face & I was worried I was pressing too hard , as they did feel very harsh on my skin. Although after wiping my face with them I really did feel like I had , had a facial peel & that all the dead cells had been removed from my face. I expected my face to be red after using the wipe but it wasn't & my skin looked very fresh & firm!
Once you turn the wipe over to the smooth side it feels wonderful after the rough beads. Very soothing & my skin felt nice & tingly . My skin after using the soothing side of the wipe felt so soft almost baby like & my face looked clean & fresh!
It says to use these wipes twice a week, but I think I will only use them once a week as they do feel quite a harsh treatment , even though my skin felt amazing after.
You really need to give your skin a good moisturise after as even though my skin felt very soft it did feel very dry.
I will follow up my peel with my Ishga marine cream , which I think will really moisturise & rehydrate my skin after this treatment.
I will continue to use these for a few months & let you know my results, I must admit I'm worried these wipes could be a harsh treatment & be doing more harm than good to my skin. So will keep you posted!
The next item I ordered was the creamy lipgloss in apricot .
This lipgloss looks like a Clinique chubby stick but is half the price!!!
I am completely impressed with this lip gloss . It's so easy to use & the gloss glides on effortlessly. In fact it was a bit like using a oil pastel!!!
There is also a good choice of colour . 13 in total. So I'm sure there must a colour for everyone!!! I think this lipgloss could be a keeper!
The last item I ordered was a mascara. I decided upon the dawn till dusk mascara & I love , love , love it!!!
The colour is a wonderful jet black & the mascara is very creamy in consistency which allows you to build up your lashes in layers. There is no clumping & my lashes looked like they had volume! I will definitely continue to use this mascara until it runs out or I can find an organic alternative , as it really is fab!
KIKO's prices are very reasonable & their website is brilliant . Great item descriptions & reviews of each product. I really think it's worth stopping by & taking a look. I just wished their products could contain a few more natural components & I would then say they were 100% perfect for me!
At the moment KIKO has free shipping until 27th April , a great opportunity to try them out!!!
